Irwin Naturals has an exciting role available for a National Account Manager that would be perfect for a candidate who has a keen skill for developing new accounts and growing existing business.  Responsible for developing, aggressively generating new customers, and successfully executing business building activities within the convenience store class of trade.  This role will concentrate on selling customized versions of the company's brands into national convenience store chains, regional convenience store chains, and independent convenience stores throughout the United States. ​

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Will concentrate on selling customized versions of our brands into national convenience store chains, regional convenience store chains, and independent convenience stores throughout the United States.
  • Responsible for developing, aggressively generating new customers, and successfully executing business building activities within the convenience store class of trade           
  • Identify key sales and growth opportunities with the convenience store industry.
  • Knowledgeable, clear articulation of product’s benefits.
  • Develop and communicate accurate account and product sales projections.
  • Gather, understand, and communicate internally in regards to competitive intelligence.
  • Manage current dotcom accounts.
  • Expand E-Commerce business by opening new dotcom accounts targeting the dotcom markets in a B2B sales environment.
  • Look for new business channel opportunities and expand company business in channels such as Sporting Goods, Outdoor stores and Fitness Centers.
  • Track orders to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Execute administrative duties to manage the account and maintain organized information.
  • Prepare and adjust presentations to meet customer objectives.
  • Any other projects and tasks as assigned.

Experience:
  • College degree in a related discipline is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a self-motivated, self-starter in sales with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Require that the applicant have a minimum of 5 years sales experience selling consumer packaged goods, with an extensive knowledge of and contacts within the convenience store industry.
  • Proven successful sales experience in a CPG to retail environment.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent verbal, written communications skills.
  • Consultative selling abilities.
  • Ability to navigate their way to close a sale.
  • Experience using MS Office programs (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • Experience using Salesforce or related CRM systems.
