Summary of Opportunity:
Established dietary supplement company seeks Territory Manager based near metro area in NJ or PA.  The Territory Manager will maintain, manage and grow existing customer base through exemplary sales, education and promotional planning. Additional responsibilities will include growing territory sales by acquiring new accounts. Training and education of retail staff on our company product lines will be a key part of the role. We seek candidates with solid communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.  Must also be energetic, hardworking and enthusiastic, with the desire to sell and succeed at their core. 

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Consistently deliver sales results, meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Manage, build and drive sales of existing customer base through line extensions, store promotions, sales programs, sell in of displays, endcaps, etc.
  • Create and execute territory plan for all customers, particularly the larger accounts
  • Prospect, follow-up on leads, qualify, acquire and build prospective new customers
  • Train and educate retail staff on our company product lines
  • Manage and execute necessary account paperwork such as new item forms, promotional forms, and account plans
  • Provide excellent Customer Service and Support for customers
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years successful territory sales experience
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals and increasing sales
  • Sales of nutritional products in Natural class of trade preferred
  • Proven skills in training and educating retail staff on products being sold
  • Proven planning and organizational skills
  • Proficiency using Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Education:
  • College education preferred.
